Here is a series of free community talks that the Public Trustee (Department of Justice) is hosting in Busselton, Margaret River and Augusta regarding making Wills and the importance of planning ahead.
Etta Palumbo, WA’s best known public speaker on Wills, and Director at the Public Trustee WA, will be hosting the talks and provides a relaxed, informative and even comical insight into this very important topic, with relevant, real-life examples that many will relate to. Attendees will be able to gain a better understanding around safeguarding decision-making in later life by preparing an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA), Enduring Power of Guardianship (EPG), Advance Health Directive or by applying for Guardian & Administration Orders.
- What really happens if you die without a valid Will?
- Who can challenge your Will?
- What do executors and administrators do?
- Benefits and risks of Enduring Powers versus Guardianship & Administration orders
…These questions, and more, will be answered to help people make informed choices about their future.
