Our services are provided free to member agencies. 

Busselton-Dunsborough Volunteers provides for its member not-for-profit organizations the following:

  • Volunteer opportunity registration on our confidential database
  • Custom referral service; matching the person and skills to your opportunity
  • Best practice standards in volunteering
  • Access to information, consultancy and training
  • Promotion of volunteering in our community
  • Increased organizational visibility
  • Web based Newsletter
  • Events calendar
  • Searchable database for volunteer of your volunteer opportunities
  • Facilitate community/business partnerships and Employee Volunteering Programs (EVP’s)
  • Promote short term or one-off projects requiring professional or specific volunteer skills
  • Access to our Community Skills Bank

To become a member we require that your organization meets the following minimum standards for involving volunteers:

  1. Have a ‘not for profit’ status
  2. Have a ‘manager of volunteers’ position, or other appropriate contact person
  3. Have written job descriptions for the type of volunteer work available
  4. Have personal accident insurance and a minimum of $5 million public liability insurance for volunteers
  5. Inform volunteers of the organization’s policy on reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses
  6. Provide training appropriate to the task
